For EuroLeague 2026, Visa welcomed its guests into a hospitality experience unlike any other.
\nWhat was originally a conference hall within the Athens Capital Hotel was transformed into a fully branded premium lounge, drawing inspiration from the world of basketball while incorporating bespoke design elements rooted in Greek culture.
\nThrough custom-built installations, immersive branding, and interactive guest experiences, the venue became a destination that celebrated both the excitement of the tournament and the identity of the host city.
\nThe transformation began with a complete reimagining of the space. The existing flooring was covered with custom carpeting and PVC sports flooring, creating the look and feel of a professional basketball court. Custom basketball hoops were strategically placed throughout the venue, reinforcing the connection to the EuroLeague experience while enhancing the visual impact of the environment.
\nTo create a fully immersive atmosphere, the venue\u2019s walls were entirely transformed through large-scale branding and custom graphics, ensuring that every corner of the space reflected the event\u2019s identity. The result was an environment that felt less like a hotel conference room and more like an exclusive courtside hospitality lounge. Among the most distinctive features of the venue were a series of bespoke installations inspired by classical Greek architecture. Custom-built ancient Greek columns, accented with Visa Blue details, became signature design elements throughout the space, blending heritage and contemporary branding in a way that felt both elegant and unexpected.
\nGuests were welcomed through a fully branded registration area, featuring custom-made structures designed specifically for the activation. Serving as the first touchpoint of the experience, the registration zone immediately introduced visitors to the premium aesthetic and attention to detail that defined the entire venue.
\nBeyond the spatial transformation, guest engagement was brought to life through an interactive creative workshop where Visa guests had the opportunity to design and personalize their own caps. Using materials, textures, and decorative elements inspired by both Greek culture and the EuroLeague Finals, participants created unique pieces while enjoying a hands-on experience that added a personal dimension to the event.
\nEvery aspect of the project, from the venue transformation and bespoke installations to the interactive guest experiences, contributed to an environment that felt both elevated and authentic.
